Dudhsagar is a place in Goa state. There is a most exquisite falls in India. The falls is from Mandovi river which flows through Karnataka. The only word will come out of your mouth when you will see it is "Amazing!". It is India's 5th tallest waterfall. The scenario in dry season is not as good as in rainy season. Its very dangerous too. One should not try to swim there, where he may be expert of swimming. Many bad news's used to come from there. It is a best place for trekkers too. Trekking starts in dry season and ends as rainy season again started. The total area is a jungle. The trip of Dudhsagar is always adventurous. There is a small zoo nearby. You have to take your food with you, because there are not much facilities of hotels and such things. You cant even halt there if you want to.
How to go:
Dudhsagar is connected with a railway and a rough road through a big jungle. The journey is somewhat adventurous.
The nearest airport is in Panji, Goa. Dudhsagar is near about 60km from Panji. There is international airport so that one can fly from anywhere in the world.
A rail road itself goes through Dudhsagar. There is station in Dudhsagar but many of the train don't take that stop. Other nearer stations are "castle rock" and "Londa". If you go through an express train then you have to stop at one of these stations. After that you can go through a passenger train (by walking from castle rock - 6 to 7 km)
Dudhsagar is connected with a rough road. There are private transportation facilities from Kulem, which is a big railway station.
