Teach For India:
In the year 2006, young leaders came together and reformed to work together so that the inequity regarding the educational system of India can be completely enhanced to a higher level. In this way the group of young leaders concluded to a decision that the change must be a systematic and it should feature outstanding professionals who can lead towards providing better and quality education to every child. So the group of young leaders consulted with the Wendy Kopp, CEO and Founder of Teach For America (TFA). Based on the pattern of Teach For America (TFA) a similar approach was proposed and it was named as "Teach For India".
After successful implementation of Teach For India educational pattern in metro cities like Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Delhi it proposed that this model should be extended by recruiting many young graduates and professionals.
