State Service Main Examination
MPSC State Service (Rajyaseva) Examination is held every year by Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC). It is conducted in two stages namely Mains & Prelims. Candidate is admitted to the mains only if he is able to crack the prelim exam. Mains exam is descriptive & deep analysis of it will help to secure more marks in it.

Main examination will probably held in Jul/Aug every year. A candidate is allowed give Main Exam only if he qualifies the prelim exam. Prelim exam is of qualifying nature. Marks obtained in the prelim are not counted to calculate the final merit of the candidate.

COMPULSORY:
• English (Standard of exam will be of 10th STD. Qualifying nature. Marks of this subject will not be considered for final ranking)
• Marathi (Standard of exam will be of 10th STD. Qualifying nature. Marks of this subject will not be considered for final ranking)
• General Studies (2 question papers): Standard of exam will be of Graduate level
