Now Entrance Examination to become kirtankar or a preacher From Warkari Sikhshan Sansthan Alandi
You might be feeling awkward but one of the spiritual institutes in Alandi follows an entrance examination for their course to become kirtankar or a preacher. The institution is started in 1917 by Sadguru Jog Maharaj in Alandi to spread knowledge of famous spiritual books. This examination is based on the Marathi Grammar.Marathi is very important language if one should not have the correct information about words and literature then he/she do not give a message (prabodhan)to the people. So it is very important to check the language grammar skills of person.
Taal,Chiplya, Pakhwaj are important things for doing Kirtan and pravachan. After successfully cracking the entrance examination persons go through the training for Kirtan and pravachan. The training is for Four Years. In these four years people will learn Abhanga, Geet Sandhya. People also learn full meaning of words in Dnyaneshwari by very famous persons in the world of spirituality. People also learn Sanskrit language,Bhagwat Gita, Tukaram Gatha, Eknathi Bhagwat, Vicharsagar, Panchdeshi.
Students in the institution are common people of Maharashtra and also from other states but most are engineers and doctors. Marathi and Sanskrit language is also taught before the entrance examination as a preparatory course for examination. The merit list is prepared on the basis of entrance examination performance of students. The examination is so tough that persons who score 75 out of 100 will also do not get admission in Jog Maharaj Warkari Shikshan Sanstha. In 2010, 77 kirtankars were passed out from the institution and enlightening the world by the spirituality. In this institution people should not pay single money for training on Kirtan and pravachan. The teacher in institution also does not get a salary for teaching. The whole thing is done only for Samajsewa.
