United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF)is offering Fulbright-Nehru Master's Fellowships for Leadership Development for eleigible Indian candidates to pursue higher education in US at some selected s and universities. This article briefly describes the requirements and other related important informations.

Fulbright-Nehru Master's Fellowships for Leadership Development.

Areas of study covered by the scholarship:

- Arts and Culture Management which include Heritage Conservation and Museum Studies.

- Communication.

- Economics.

- Environment.

- Public Administration.

- Women Studies.

- Urban and Regional Planning, and

- Conflict Resolution.

Who is eligible for the scholarship:

- The application should have completed a bachelor's degree with minimum 55% of marks from a recognised university of India. The degree gained should be an equivalent of US degree.

- In case the degree obtained is of less than four years of duration then the applicant should complete Master's Degree from a recognised university.

- The applicant should possess work experience that is relevant to the field of study.

- The applicant should have leadership skills and obtained any experience in community service.

- The applicant should be between 25 - 30 years of age.

- At the time of application, the candidate should not possess any US degree and enroll in any degree program from any US university.

How to obtain application forms: Application forms can be obtained personally from USIEF office. Otherwise it can also be obtained by post by sending a self-addressed stamped (Rs. 45) A4 envelope to the regional USIEF office. Applicants are required to state in the request letter their date of birth, qualifications, experience and the fellowship category. Application forms can be downloaded directly from the official website of USIEF.

Last date of submission: Last date for submitting completed application form is July 15, 2011.
