On Thursday Census 2011 data released according to that India’s population stands at 1.21 billion after witnessing an of over 181 million in past 10 years. The country’s populations include 62.7 million males and 586.5 million females. While China is most populated country in the world (1.341 billion), they hold the 19.4 percent of world’s population, India also share 17.6 percent world’s population.

The country's populations include 62.7 million males and 586.5 million females. While China is most populated country in the world (1.341 billion), they hold the 19.4 percent of world's population, India also share 17.6 percent world's population.
C. Chandramouli who is the India's registrar- general and census commissioner said that the population of India at 1,210.2 million is almost equal to that of combined population of Indonesia, Brazil, United States, Pakistan, Japan and Bangladesh (1,214.3 million).

Some most important features:


-The population of India has risen by more that 181 million during 2001-2011
-2001-2011 is the first decade (with 1911-1921 as expectation) which has actually additional laser population compared to previous decades.
-UP (200 million) is most populated state in India- It's population is more than the population of Brazil.
-UP and Maharashtra (312 million), is greater than population of USA.
-Overall sex ratio at national level has increased by 7 points since census 2001.

Population is increasing tremendously and before breakdown we will have to bring it under control. Various positive steps and actions should be taken willingly to reduce population growth.

Its good that birth ratio is declined, but I am worried about sex ratio.If similar trends continue then we will face a major problem of girls. So support 'save girl child'.
