The over weight of the person to its relative height is called obesity. Today most of the Indians are overweight. There are various disease caused by the Obesity. The obese persons faces severe problems on mental and physical health. There are various causes of obesity.
The Gene of person affect various weight related process in the body. The affects are increasing metabolic rate , fat storage, blood glucose. If parents of child are obsessed then born child will gain weight. The stress full life give the stimulation to hormones and person get obsessed.
The lifestyle of the person is very important that contributed to being overweight. The eating habits of person is main factor that contributed to overweight. If the children follow the bad habits of their parents then children were grown up overweight.

The overweight person's body has not able to metabolize carbohydrate and maintain glucose level. so, persons get disease of Diabetes.Obesity is one of the many reasons for diabetes in people.
Obese women were more risk of getting cancer like Brest ,ovarian, cervical and obese men were more risk of getting cancer like colon, prostate.
Over weighed persons put extra pressure on their bone joints, knees .so, they get disease like Arthritis.
Yoga for Obese People
Regular practicing yoga correctly will reduce extra body weight and makes fit with respect to body and mind. The asanas related to bending, twisting are useful in burning fats of abdomen and hips. Pranayama is very beneficial for the obese person as it increase intake capacity of lungs and helps in burning fats. Proper diet and Yoga combination make body slim and agile.
There is a good proverb which must be always remembered 'Health is Wealth'. Good health is a result of longterm hard work. One doing exercises from his childhood is always fit and fine. Regular exercise and yoga is boon.
