The Indian Council for Agricultural Research or I.C.A.R. which is an autonomous organisation functioning under Department of Agricultural Research and Education, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India is going to conduct the All India Entrance Examination for Agriculture 2011 for admission to the Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses conducted by them. The Under Graduate courses offered by Indian Council for Agricultural Research or ICAR includes B.Sc. / B.Tech. / B.F.Sc. in the following subjects: Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, Bio Technology, Fishery, Diet Science, Sericulture, Home Science, Agricultural Marketing and Banking etc. Post Graduate courses are also available in many of the above streams.

How to apply and eligibility conditions for AIEEA 2011 :


Those who are interested, can visit the Official Website of Indian Council for Agricultural Research. Through this Website, you can get the application forms and brochures for the All India Entrance Examination for Agriculture 2011. Those who wish to join the Under Graduate courses offered by ICAR, should have passed the 10+2 examination with more than 60% marks. Those who wish to join the Post Graduate courses in ICAR, should have passed Under Graduation in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Fishery and Dairy Technology etc.

The last date for applying for AIEEA 2011 is 15th February, 2011.

The Entrance Examination for Under Graduation is scheduled to be held on 16th April, 2011.

The Entrance Examination for Post Graduation is scheduled to be held on 17th April, 2011.
