Light Detecting Circuit Using LDR and IC-CD4093

This is really a good one project to perform in your college for mini projects and also you can make it for fun.
This circuit operates on 9V DC power. When the room light switched off or it goes off due to power cut, the LED in circuit glows automatically.
This project is really chip in cost, simple to design and take less time.
This project consists of two main components IC- CD4093 and a LDR (Light Detecting Resistor) which u can easily get in any electrical shop. Other all components are as shown below.
