This temple is Grade One Heritage Structure declared by the Maharashtra State Government.The kasibai stops the Sati tradition.The "Kashibai Utsav" is celebrated every year in this temple. On this occasion bhajans, kirtans and mahaprasad program were organized every year. Kojagiri celebration is also organized every year. On Dusshera most people will come to the temple and offer the 'Sona' to Kasibai. The Raje Mudhoji Maharaj Bhosale taking care of this Temple.

History Of kasibai Temple
The Kashibai Temple is the Raj Ghat means burial ground. It is the Bhonsale family's burial ground. The place was chosen for funerary because it is placed in the middle of two Bhonsala palaces in Mahal and Sakkardara. There were 30 to 35 Samadhis of Bhonsale dynasty. The first Samadhi is of Raje Raghuji Bhosale. This samadhi was built in between 1750-1755. The King's wife went to 'Sati' with him and was also buried near his Samadhi. Bhosale family follow the tradition of 'sati'. Kasibai is the wife of Raje Parsoji Maharaj Bhonsale stop the trend of 'Sati '. In 1817 the British passed an Act against 'Sati' tradition . The British Officer did not have son but after praying at Kasibai's Samadhi,his wish is fulfill . He constructed a Garden in the name of Kasibai and then the place came to known as Kasibai Temple.
