Swimming Medal After 24 Years In Asian Games


After 24 years in Asian Games, India celebrated a swimming medal. On 16 November 2010, Virdhawal Khade claimed a bronze medal in 50 meters butterfly. (Butterfly is the one of the type of the swimming)
Virdhawal Kade born in the Kolhapur. Kolhapur is one of the District in the Maharashtra.In Beijing 2008, he is youngest Indian to have represented the country at the Olympic games, that time age was only 15 years. He starts slow and complete competition at time 24:31 seconds was good enough for him to finsh third. Gold medalest Jiawei Zhou completes competition in only 23:66 seconds. He is from the China. Japam's Masayuki Kishida won the siliver medal. He complete competition in 24:13 seconds. Khade said that, he feels the better to win a medal for India after the long wating this is 24 years.

Khade has got the bronze medal in 50 meters butterfly but he was out from the 100 meters free style. Free style is another type of the swimming.
