Now book Train Tickets from Post Offices


With around 5000 railway reservation counters being set up across the country in post offices, , passengers can now book train tickets from Post Offices. For this purpose, a MoU has already been signed between Indian Railways and India Post for providing Passenger Reservation Systems (PRS) through nearly 5,000 post offices across the country.

For this purpose, a MoU has already been signed between Indian Railways and India Post for providing Passenger Reservation Systems (PRS) through nearly 5,000 post offices across the country.

In Mumbai, the new system will be available at Girgaum post office in south Mumbai, and at Chembur head post office, Dadar head post office, Mandvi post office and General Post Office at CST. Out of 500 Post Offices identified for Post Reservation System (PRO), 103 Post Offices will be in Mumbai.
