Educational qualification required for clerical vacancy in Oriental Bank of Commerce
Applicants should have passed Degree in any any discipline of 10+2 with not less than 50% of marks.
Whereas it is 10+2 for candidates belongs to SC/ST category.
The above mentioned qualifications should have secured on or before 01.10.2010.
The basic knowledge in operating computer systems in Windows mode, knowledge of MS-Word/Office, Spread Sheets like MS-Excel and Internet & Email familiarity is an essential qualification which a candidate must either possess before joining the bank services or acquire the same within a period of 6 months of joining the bank, in case the candidate is selected for appointment. For this purpose, the candidate is required to submit a certificate in support of this computer related qualification.
Criteria of Age
The candidates should have attained minimum of 18 years and not more than 28 years of age as on 01.10.2010.
Where as it is relaxable as per the norms of Government of India Rules.
Mode of Application fee to be paid
Candidates required to pay Rs.300/- [Rs.50 for SC/STXS/PWD candidates] may be paid at any of the branch of the Oriental Bank of Commerce only in Current A/c No. 00071011002147 from 25.10.2010 to 24.11.2010. The challan copy is available in the link provided below.
After payment, the candidate must collect the payment receipt; the particulars thereof are to be quoted in the on line application and the original receipt must be produced along with the call letter at the time of the written test.
After applying online, take a print out of system generated online application form and retain it for future reference. Candidates are advised to keep a copy of the application print-out and Fee Payment Receipt for their record. They should not send the Printout or the fee payment receipt to the Bank.
