National Employment Service or Employment Exchange, is operated by Directorate General of Employment and Training, Government of India, Ministry of Labor. In order to bring about a matching of the supply and demand,job seekers register themselves with the Employment Exchanges. They in turn get notified about the available vacancy in Government departments matching their profile. For example for Postmen job and such other jobs, one has to register themselves with the Employment Exchanges. Employment Exchanges assist youth in locating jobs by matching their profile, registering their names and notifying them about vacancies.
