H1N1, Dengue is on rise in the major cities
All major cities are witnessing tremendous rise in H1N1 and Dengue cases and many hospitals are running short of beds for patients. Many of the tested cases found positive which brings hospitals in the city on the war foot and the waiting list for beds in hospitals in on increase day by day.
At a hospital in the city the inflow of patients is 2-3 everyday of suspected cases of Dengue with severe viral fever with very low platelet counts, more patients in paediatric wards.
There has been an abnormal increase in hemorrhagic fever too, but yet to be confirmed as it is similar to Dengue fever.
Public are requested to be cautious of this high risk bracket and precautionary vaccines are administered in many hospitals and now such vaccines are available at all hospitals.
