Various Indicators In Technical Analysis (Index)


In the share market there are many technical indicators but these indicators are different than other this indicators are also called Index.

In the Share Market , there are many indicators are available in technical analysis. They are as follows:-

ABSOLUTE BREADTH INDEX


This indicator was developed by Norman G. Fosback . The Absolute Breadth Index (ABI) is the market momentum indicator. This indicator shows the activity, volatility and change is taking in stock exchange. This is called activity Index. A 10-week moving average of this valve is then calculated . Reading above 40 percent are bearish.

ACCUMULATION/DISTRIBUTION


This indicator is associates changes in price and volumes that accompanies a price move, the more significant the price more. This indicator is more popular on Balance Volume indicator.This indicators attempt to confirm changes in prices by comparing the volume associated with prices. When a divergence does occur, prices usually change to confirm the Accumulation/Distribution.

For Example:
If the indicator is moving up and the security price is going down, prices will probably reverse.

ACCUMULATION SWING INDEX


This index is acumulative total of the swing Index. The accumulation Swing Index was developed by Welles Wilder. This index shows the real market. This typical analysis involves looking for breakouts , new highs and lows and divergences. This indicator provides a numerical valve that quantifies prices swings as well as the short-term swing points. Accumulation Swing index cuts through the maze of high, low and close prices and it indicates the real strength and direction of the market.

ADVANCE/DECLINELINE


ADVANCE/DECLINE lines is also called A/D lines . This is mostly used for measure of market breadth. It is helpful when measuring overall market strength. A/D lines shows market strength. The analogy is that trouble looms when the generals lead and the troops refuse to follow. The A/D lines is calculated by subtracting the number of sticks that declined in prices for the day from the number of the stocks that advanced , and then adding this value to a cumulative total.
