The ADX : The Share Market Indicator


In the share market the there are many indoicators are availble names are RSI, Stocastick, ADX etc.

Now we uses the the technical analysis in share market. In technical analysis, there are some indicator uses in that . These indicators are called technical indicators. In these technical indicators can be classified into two groups .First group contain trend following or lagging, indicators and moving averages(MA) and moving average convergence divergence(MACD). And second group contains relative strength index(RSI). stochastic oscillator and williams %R. A trading market is one when the index moves sideways between ranges without any clear trend up or down. Such a market is also called a consolidation stage. One of the best indicator to know the about what happen in share market is ADX. ADX means Average Directional Index. This indicator was developed by J. Welles Wilder.

BSE Ends the day with modest gain

BSE ends the day with modest gain. Today both NSE and BSE indices closed flat. The Sensex or sensitive index of Bombay Stock Exchange ended with a 33 point gain. Consumer durables and metal sector witnessed buys. The Sensex closed at 18032.11 points, with a marginal increase of 0.19 percent or 33.7 points over Friday's closing rate at 17998.41 points.

Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE)

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) benchmark index, Sensex today raised by over 338 points and closed at 18560.05 points or 1.86% over Friday closing, the highest level in two-and-half years. Analysts this due to the better-than-expected jobs data from the US allaying concerns that global economic growth is somewhat faltering. The raise in the index was attributed to a smart rise in metal and banking stocks.

Coal India IPO fully subscribed on third day

On the strength of good response the Initial Public Offer (IPO) of Coal India IPO has been has been fully subscribed on October 19, 2010 the second day of the issue as per authoritative sources . The Company has received bids for 99.12 crore equity shares against which the issue size is 63.16 crore shares. Thus the portion reserved for QIBs has been subscribed to about 3.4 times.

Bombay Stock Exchange Today on 1st september

The Bombay Sensitive Index, also known as the benchmark Sensex closed at 18205.87 points registered an increase of 1.31% over yesterday's closing rates. The Nifty of the National Stock Exchange also increased by 1.29% and closed at 5471.85
