Candidates required to send the filled in form and its enclosures on or before 15.09.2010.

Candidates who wishes to apply for more than one post to do so in separate application forms.

The Application and the outer cover should be superscribed as "Application for the post of ........, Post No. ........ Discipline ..........against Advertisement No. HWB/2/2010.

The outstation candidates called for interview will be eligible for to and fro rail fare for IInd Class (GENERAL CLASS) or actual fare by the shortest route whichever is less, subject to the production of tickets / ticket numbers etc. However, Traveling Allowance is not admissible to those SC/ST candidates who are already in Central/State Government services, Central/State Government Corporation, Public Undertakings, Local Government Institutions and Panchayats.

Candidates selected against this advertisement are likely to be posted at any of the Heavy Water Plants, but are also liable to serve in any part of India and in any constituent units of the Department of Atomic Energy as may be required in public interest.

Positions required and desired educational qualifications


Technical Officer / Engineer `D' (Chemical)


Desired educational qualifications
B.E./B.TECH (Chemical) with minimum 60% marks from any recognized university.

Experience in Design, Engineering Project Execution, Operation of large scale caustic Chlorine (Chlor-Alkali) Industry / Fertilizer Plants / Petrochemical Industry/ Pharmaceutical Complex involving Driers, Crystalizers, Electrolysis, Filters etc /Water de-mineralisation Plant /Utility Systems of large Chemical Industry.

Technical Officer/ Engineer `D' (Mechanical)


Desired educational qualifications
B.E./B.TECH (Mechanical) with minimum 60% marks from any recognized university.

Experience in Design, Engineering Project Execution, Maintenance of Equipments / Machinery etc., in a large scale Caustic Chlorine (Chlor-Alakali) Industry/ Fertilizer plants/ Petro-chemical Complex. Knowledge in material of Construction and Repair & Maintenance of Rubber Lined Vessels will be preferred.

Technical Officer/ Engineer `D' (Electrical)


Desired educational qualifications
B.E./B.TECH (Electrical) with minimum 60% marks from any recognized university.

Experience in Design, Engineering Project Execution, Operation of Power Distribution System with a Large Industrial Unit (in DC power supply will be preferred)/ Molten Salt Electrolysis / High Temperature Furnaces/ Metal Processing Industry/ Large Scale Manufacturing Industry.

Technical Officer/ Engineer `D' (Instrumentation)


Desired educational qualifications
B.E./B.TECH (Instrumentation/ Electronics) with minimum 60% marks from any recognized university.

Experience in Design, Engineering Project Execution, Maintenance of Instruments (including control system involving DCS) in a Large Process Industry like Fertilizer Complex/ Petrochemical Complex or a large Thermal Power Plant.

Technical Officer/ Engineer 'D' (Civil)


Desired educational qualifications
B.E. in Civil Engineering with minimum 60% marks from any recognized University.

Minimum 4 years experience or ME (structure) and 2 years experience in Design of Industrial Structure both of RCC and Structural Steel of Large Spans and Height, Foundations of Dynamic Equipment and having experience to carry out analysis as per Seismic Wind and other relevant codes.

Technical Officer/ Engineer "D' (Chemistry)


Desired educational qualifications
M.Sc (Chemistry) from a recognised university with 60% marks.

Experience in the Quality Control Laboratory for estimation of Quality Control Parameters using Conventional & Advanced Analytical techniques such as use of UV-VIS Spectrophotometer, Gas Chromatograph (GC-HPLC), Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (AAS), Infra red Spectrophotometer (IR), Mass Spectrometer (MS), Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectrometer etc.
