Chandoli Wildlife Sanctuary

In our Maharashtra there are many wildlife sanctuary are located. Chandoli wildlife sanctuary is one of them.

In the chandoli, there ais dam which is provides water for the Sangali. This wildlife sanctuary comes under in the area of Sangali, Kolhapur, Satara and Ratnagiri. Area of the Chandoli Wildlife Sanctuary is nearly 308.97 square Kilometer. This was established in the september 1985. In this wildlife sanctuary we can found the many animals and birds. Animals are like tiger, bear, bison, bekar,monkey, rabit etc. Birds are like Malbar Hornbill, owl, lark, woodpecker, sky lark, eagle etc. There are many tree in this sanctuary are like Aavla, kokam, mad, padal etc. Best visit for this sanctuary is in between March to May.
