The best wildlife sanctuary wildlife sanctuary is Bhimashankar Wildlife Sanctuary one of them in Maharashtra.In the Maharashtra, There are 24 wildlife Sanctuaries are found and Bhimashankar wildlife santuary is one of them. Bhimashankar wildlife sanctury is not created by human (government); it is a natural wildlife sanctuary.
Bhimashankar wildlife Sanctuary is established in the 10 October 1985. Area of this wildlife Sanctuary is 104 square kilometers. It is located in the Ambegaon. Type of this wildlife sanctuary is evergreen wildlife Sanctuary.In this sanctuary, you can found many animals like wild boar, leopard,fox,mangoose,porcupine,monkey etc; mainly you can found squirrel.In this sanctuary, we can found the birds like Green Barbet, Woodenpigin, Woodpecker, Peacock, black bird, paidbuschat,eagle etc.Here we found many reptillion like cobra, lizard, pthon etc. Here you can found variety of trees Dhawda,Sal,Teak, Babul, Tendu etc. Here you found varieties of Isora, vitex Nigundo, Lanta etc. commonly.
At the north pf this wildlife sanctuary we found the Naneghat and Malshirs ghat. Hight of this ghats are about 650 to 1140 meters. There are many holy places.Better visit to the Bhimashankar is in between October to May.

1.Nagphani Point:- From this point you can see the Kokan Darshan. Distance is 4 kilometers.
2.Hanuman Lake:-Here you can found various birds and squirrels. In the rainny season we see the many waterfalls also.
3.Bombay Point:-Here you can see the sunset that mean this is the sunset point.
4.Kalavantini Mahal:- Here you found the natural den(cave) and water tank.
5.SakshiVinayak:-Distance is 2 kilometers.
