Marathi recipes - KHARDA
Quantity : 150 grams
Ingredients : green chilies – 50, Garlic pods- 20, salt to taste, pinch of hing, pinch of jira, pinch of crushed dhania , crushed peanuts 2 tbsp, Oil 1/2 tsp
Method of KHARDA: - Remove stems of green chilies, peel garlic pods. Take 2½ cup of water in pan Heat over medium flame for 3 minutes green chilies and garlic. Cover and steam cook for 7 minutes then, cook uncovered until all the water vaporizes. Allow it to cool down. Put them into mixer/grinder with salt and crush them on slow speed for about 1-2 minute, heat the oil, along with hing, jira, dhania & crushed peanuts, add crushed Kharda and roast for a 2 minute.
KHARDA Serving: - 4 persons,
Serve along with bhakri of rice, nachani or Jawar & onion rings,
