Teachings of Shirdi Sai baba


Sai baba was a great saint and guiding force for his devotees who look for salvation. He has made many teachings for the sake of his devotees. Sai baba's teachings says that love in God is the gateway to eternity. Sai baba's teachings always explain about the significance of 'Shraddha'. Sai baba always reiterates the words told by Sri Krishna to Arjun - "Whosever offer to me with love and devotion, a leaf, a flower, a fruit or water or whatever may be, that offering of pure love is readily accepted by Me" in his teachings.

Saburi - Sai baba's teachings


'Saburi' means patience and perseverance. The quality of Saburi is needed for every one through out the life to reach the goal. Saburi is a quality needed throughout the path to reach the goal. Sai baba's teachings talk about Saburi.

Purity -Sai baba's teachings


Sai baba never talks about the purity of the outer body in all his teachings. Sai baba always matters about the inner purity of every one in his teachings. Nothing can be achieved by external or physical cleaning and appearance if the man remains impure in mind and heart. Sai baba always tells his devotees to be pure from within themselves rather than external purity in his teachings.

Complete Surrender to the Guru - Sai baba's teachings

  • Death and life are the activities of God. We can not separate the two.

  • Why fear when I am here?

  • My eye is always on those who love me

  • Trust in your Guru fully

  • Whoever makes me the sole object of their love, merges in me like a river in the ocean

  • Saburi (patience) will always takes you to the distance goal

  • I take care of my men, generation after generation, birth after birth

  • Whenever you undertake to do something, do it fully or do not undertake it at all

  • It is the ties of previous birth that brings human beings, birds and animals to each other. Do not shoo away any one.

  • I look on all with an equal eye

  • I stay by the side of whoever repeats my name

  • Those who think Sai baba is only at Shirdi failed to know me

  • Always speak the truth and truth alone.

  • For every ten words you hear, speak only one word that too if necessary

  • Have faith and patience. Then I will always be with you wherever you are

  • I get angry with none. Will the mother get angry with her children

  • If you are wealthy, be humble. Plants bend when they bear fruit.

  • Let your love and compassion flow to all creatures of God
