Please help again! Table in Resource Article

Hello,
Can somebody please explain how to post content in a table format in a Resource article? When I create a table in Word doc and copy-paste it in my article here, the table does not appear at all and it looks a mess.

You probably can use the code below to present a simple table.

<code>
<table>
<tr>
<td>Enter data in this teg</td>
</tr>
</table></code>

Regards,

<
>
<
>
<> Name <>
<> Address <>
<> Phone no <>
<
>
<
>

Remove all these square bracket please.

This code create table of 1 row and 3 column.

width and border are the attribute of table tag

If you put border=0 then it is invisible border line.

<
> tag use for row and <> use to make column in it.

<
>
<
>
<> Meter Reading <>
<> New Tariff (in Rs.) <>
<> Midnight Tariff (12 midnight to 5a.m.) <>
<
>
<
>
<> 1.00 <>
<> 16.00 <>
<> 20.00 <>
<
>
<
>
<> 1.10 <>
<> 17.50 <>
<> 22.00 <>
<
>
<
>
<> 1.20 <>
<> 19.50 <>
<> 24.00 <>
<
>
<
>
<> 1.30 <>
<> 21.00 <>
<> 26.00 <>
<
>
<
>

Use width = 450 or 460 is gives suitable size to fit your text in it.

Like this enter all in one table tag.

use TR tag to create new row and TD tag use to make column in that row.

Hope you get it how to do that.

Regards,
Sagar Kakde.

Hi,sagar, I got it finally!

Now the problem is the huge blank space between the subheading and the table [just like the space in the response given by Vilas above]. I have requested Webmaster Mahesh to rectify it. Can you explain why that space comes?

My gmail is:zindagi.vk

Dear Vandana,

I had try hard to overcome from this table inserting problem. when I came to know our website based on HTML codecs & it changed total layout of the site when we use Tags like body, table & others. so ignore the importance of table or attach a file to your resources.

Hi, Vandana,

Its because of the width we specified its 450 am I wright.

You can change it to 250 or 200 and see the size of table.

I suggest you 450 because your main heading will be clear and easy to read that sentence.

There are so many attributes in table you can garnish so beautifully.

You try to change its width and see the result.

Regards,
Sagar Kakde.
