Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium of Pune will host first ever T20 International Cricket Match.Hello everyone,
The Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium of Pune will be hosting its first ever International T20 Cricket Match. Up till now there have been only 6 T20 International Cricket Matches in India and each one of those was played at different venues all across India. The venues of previously played T20 International matches and their results are as follows:
Brabourne Stadium – Mumbai: India Vs Australia in October 2007.
Result – India WON the match.
Vidharbha Cricket Association (VCA) Stadium – Jamtha, Nagpur: India Vs Sri Lanka in 9th Dec 2009.
Result – Sri Lanka WON by 29 Runs.
Punjab Cricket Association Stadium – Mohali: India Vs Sri Lanka in 12th Dec 2009.
Result – India WON by 6 wickets.
Eden Gardens – Kolkata: India Vs England on 29th Oct 2011.
Result: England WON the match by 6 Wickets.
M. A. Chidambaram Stadium – Chennai: India Vs New Zealand on 11th Sep 2012.
Result: New Zealand WON the match by mere 1 Run.
In this way tomorrow it will be the 6th T20 International Cricket Match that will be played on Subrata Roy Stadium of Pune. Another Interesting fact is that Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be playing his 130th T20 cricket match and he is the only player to be a Captain of the team and lead the game of cricket.
